Spring Zen Weekend
April 9-11, 2009
The Puget Sound Zen Center invites you to join us for a weekend of Zen Practice at the Zen Center on Vashon Island.
Friday, April 9 at 5:30pm to
Sunday, April 11 at 4pm
$130 (members $110), meals included.
Scholarships available.
THOSE PAYING IN FULL ON OR BEFORE APRIL 4 WILL RECEIVE A $10 DISCOUNT ($120/$100)
The retreat is non-residential, and will be held at the Zen Center. If you are coming from off-island contact the Zen Center and we will find you housing for the weekend.
Part-timers are welcome to this retreat. The minimum time requirement for part-timers is the time in between 2 meals, and a meal on either end. Cost is $5 per meal, and $15 for the time in between meals.

6:00 informal dinner, welcome
7:15 or so zazen
8:45 tea & chanting, closing
Saturday:
5:30am Tea & chanting, zazen
7:30 breakfast
8:00 cleaning
8:15 break
8:45 zazen
10:00 dharma talk & interview with Koshin
12:15pm lunch
12:45 samu
1:15 change for hike
1:25 hike
2:30 break
3:00 zazen, chanting, zazen
5:15 dinner
6:00 break
6:30 gyodo, zazen
8:45 tea & chanting, closing
